Our team of mobile wedding hair and makeup artists travels regularly to Waiheke Island, creating effortless, long-lasting looks that photograph beautifully and suit your unique style. From soft natural glam to modern chic, we’ll tailor every detail to complement your dress, theme, and setting.
THE BRIDE
Our experienced Tutor will discuss your needs and together design a stunning Bridal look to enhance your individual features. You will then have hands on tutoring to create this look yourself, including a face chart with step by step instructions. We can assist you in sourcing all products, and/or supplying samples of products, needed to create your individual look, plus incorporate your own makeup if you have some favourite products which are suitable.
Professional Makeup Lesson and Design of Bridal Look – $230 – Allow 2 ½ hours
Follow up Lessons if required – $200 – Allow 1 ½ hours
Follow up Lesson with Bridesmaids eyes only Lesson (see below) – $200 – Allow 2 hours
OVERSEAS TRAVEL
One of our Artists who is a professional Hair Stylist AND Makeup Artist can travel to your destination to take care of your entire wedding party. Our team has traveled for Weddings to Rarotonga, Fiji, The Bay of Islands, Queenstown, and everywhere in between!
Wedding FAQs
95% of our Brides choose to have a Hair and Makeup Trial, and we highly recommend it. It's a fun, relaxed session where you get to see your whole look come together before the big day. We suggest collecting photos of styles you love (Pinterest is a great place to start) so we can talk through what will suit your features, dress and wedding style, and design your dream look together. For international Brides flying into Auckland, or those with limited time, we can arrange a video consultation with your Artist prior to your Wedding Day.
We recommend booking your Bridal Hair and Makeup trial 2-3 months before your Wedding Day, or earlier if you feel you need tick it off your list. Trials are booked for a 2 hours timeslot. Many Brides like to pair their trial with their hen's night, dress fitting, or another special occasion to make the most of the experience - and most of all, have fun with it!
Every wedding is different, so pricing depends on your location, the size of your bridal party, and the services you choose - hair, makeup, or both. Bridal Hair and Makeup starts at $240 at our Studio, Mobile Bridal services depend on your Auckland location. For an accurate quote tailored to your day, email your Wedding details to info@thebeautyhub.co.nz Our Weddings Bookings Manager, Cleo, will send you our full Bride Info Pack along with your initial quote.
We allow 2 hours for the Bridal Hair and Makeup. Timing can vary slightly depending on the styles chosen, but our Artists are trained to work to a schedule built around your day, so everyone is ready on time and not rushed.
After more than 17 years of doing weddings, we recommend having Hair and Makeup finished at least 1 hour before you need to walk out the door. This gives you a buffer for any last-minute touches, getting dressed, photos, a drink of your choice to celebrate with loved ones before you leave, so you can enjoy the moment and never feel rushed.
Yes, absolutely! With a large team of Artists we can accomodate your entire Bridal party - and any extra family, friends or guests at other locations - ready on time, even across multiple locations if required. Our largest wedding to date had 24 Bridesmaids!
Yes, we require a 50% deposit to confirm your Wedding date and Artists, with the remaining balance due one week before your Wedding. You'll receive an invoice by email once you're booked into our system, and please note your date isn't officially confirmed until we've received your deposit. Yes, our team regularly travels for destination weddings, including to Waiheke Island and further afield across New Zealand. Yes! We pride ourselves on our high quality of work over the years, and love to show it off.
There are no additional travel costs if your location is within a 15min drive from your closest local Artists “base”. If you are outside 15mins then Travel Time/Costs are $1.50 per km/return.
If all the Artists in your area are already fully booked at the date/time you are requesting, then we will send an Artist into you area, in these cases Travel Time/Costs are $1.50 per km/return, and we will advise you of the cost at the time of booking.
For all inner city Hotels/Locations parking time/costs are charged at a standard $50 per Artist, unless you advise us you have Free parking available.

We provide all our clients with a complimentary test pot of your lipstick colour and an applicator for touch-ups.
