Our team experience is endless. From working on Films, TV, Fashion, Photoshoots and Weddings, a number of our team are Qualified Makeup training experts who tutor at the Makeup Academies in NZ.
Our team work not only in NZ but Internationally as well, whether it is a wedding in Fiji, a photoshoot in Bora Bora, or a Fashion show in Australia.
We have very high standards and handpick only highly trained, skilled and experienced Artists to deliver what you need. Our focus is on quality not quantity.
The team are here to solve, educate and beautify, to get results, and most importantly we love what we do!

Originally from an entertainment background, Nicki has worked all over the world including Asia, the Greek Islands, Europe and Australia.
After returning to NZ, Nicki worked for one of New Zealand’s top Music Promoters – touring with both local and International bands and artists such as Blondie, Norah Jones, Hayley Westenra, and Billy Connolly.
Nicki’s experience spans over 15 years, working in all aspects of the industry. Not only on the tools, Nick’s expertise is now predominantly as an adviser to the Industry, she works with the NZQA to establish the correct industry standard and teaching qualifications for Government Bodies, Makeup Schools in NZ, Beauty Brands and Industry leaders.
Her goal is to ensure today’s Artists reach the industry with the highest standard and are leading the way in current International Trends and Techniques.

With over 10 years of experience in customer service, Cleo understands the importance of ensuring client satisfaction and goes above and beyond to meet their needs.
As the Weddings Bookings Manager, Cleo is responsible for handling all wedding booking concerns. She is dedicated to ensuring a smooth and seamless booking process for our clients, from initial inquiries to finalizing details for their special day. With her extensive background and dedication to exceptional customer service, Cleo strives to provide personalized and tailored services, ensuring that every wedding booking is handled with the utmost care and attention. Her attention to detail and organizational skills makes her a valuable asset in coordinating wedding services and ensuring client satisfaction.

Makeup Artist & Hair Down Stylist
Cheyenne is our newest member to joint The Beauty Hub Team, and has over 5 years experience. We knew she was a must have on our Team when we learnt her career had started by graduating from one of Auckland’s elite Makeup Academy’s
with Excellence. Plus being awarded the Revlon Scholarship Prize for Best Makeup Artist.
She’s a passionate makeup artist with a natural skill in beauty and fashion makeup. Having high standards of understanding the art of enhancing natural features and beauty, and working comfortably with every type of skin tone, shade, age and gender in her career.
Some of her experience includes the Revlon YMCA Walk-the Line Fashion Show, music videos, headshots, photoshoots, fashion shows including NZFW, weddings, school ball makeup and hair, production shows and special occasion clients.

Meighan’s beauty career started with working on the front desk at Serville’s Ponsonby which is where she first started working with makeup clients.
Meighan completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts at AUT and then continued to study, graduating from Samala Robinson Makeup Academy with an excellence plus in 2017. She has experience freelancing for school balls, special events and also holds Runway and Fashion photography makeup experience.
Meighan then started working with our team at The Beauty Hub in 2017 and has spent the past 4 years working in the fashion and makeup industry.

MCKEELIE – BIRKENHEAD

McKeelie has over 5 years experience as a professional Makeup Artist. She has an incredibly wide range of experience, predominantly in the film and TV industry. Her diverse range of Makeup techniques include special effects, body painting, editorial looks, right through to bridal makeup.
She has worked with top brands like NYX Cosmetics, experience on film sets, creating makeup for various productions, and TV companies such as South Seas Productions where she was a Makeup Artist for news presenters and public figures.
Known for her versatility, McKeelie is equally adept at creating striking, bold glam looks as she is at enhancing natural beauty for weddings or special events. Passionate about her craft, she is committed to helping clients feel confident, bold, and glamorous with every makeup application.
She is also our superstar SPFX and Themed Makeup Artist, so if you have a Themed event, Halloween party, Dress up party to go to, or need Festival Makeup, McKeelie is the Queen!

The Beauty and Makeup field has always been Celestes passion (since a young girl playing with barbies!), having worked in the Corporate Business world for over 20 years, Celeste made the move to Makeup Artist 7 years ago and loved every minute of it.

Jen is one of our senior professional hairstylists & makeup artists. She has a vast dedicated experience working on weddings, special occasions, corporate/school balls, and studio work/photoshoots, headshots, fashion and bridal shows.
Jen has a great attention to detail and a thorough personalising approach to ensure the hair and makeup is created to enhance, suit and compliment each individuals style and dress attire.
Jens experience in freelance Hair styling and Makeup spans over 12 years. Alongside hairdressing and having acquired management experience, Jen has achieved Schwarzkopf colourist award, full qualifications in both National Hairdressing certificate and a Makeup diploma.
Earlier on in her career she was part of a salon team in Auckland. During which time she started working on weddings, which now has become the biggest part of her career.
Jen has also worked on a regular basis in photography studios, achieving ‘camera ready looks’ covering; Glamour makeovers and assisting with wardrobe, followed by doing 1950s pin up style/vintage.

Nelia studied makeup and SFX at Te Auaha in Wellington and has since worked with renowned brands like Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. She has also contributed her artistry to high-profile events, including the World of Wearable Arts in 2022 and the 20th-anniversary Juliette Hogan Fashion Show in 2024. Miley trained in Korea and also worked in a studio in Vietnam, and is one of our Asian specialists. Miley understands Asian features and knows how to apply makeup on Asians to enhance their beauty, experienced in many kinds of styles such as Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, and Japanese.
Asian makeup should be different because the facial features are different. Commonly such as eye makeup applications on mono eyelids or hooded eyelids, how to enhance and enlarge them. Using highlighting and contouring techniques to bring out the Asian features and also let them to get closer to the beauty standard features (Most of Asians have the same beauty standard, and want to be closer to it when having makeup on such as a v-line chin, or small face).
For the hair, Miley’s expertise is a mix of her experience such as, Koreans like simple curly hair down, Thai people like Hollywood waves or high ponytails but Vietnamese clients prefer a high bun.
Miley’s kit consists of luxury brands to prep the skin and she chooses colours that are yellow and pink based that match Asian skin. These techniques will help to have natural glowy skin.
She also understands different techniques in a bronzed sun-kissed look that make a difference between Asian and Western styles. So although specializing in Asian makeup/hair Miley is also experienced in Western makeup looks as well.
Her experience ranges from wedding makeup, formal makeup, special event makeup, and makeup lessons.

McKeelie has over 5 years experience as a professional Makeup Artist. She has an incredibly wide range of experience, predominantly in the film and TV industry. Her diverse range of Makeup techniques include special effects, body painting, editorial looks, right through to bridal makeup.
She has worked with top brands like NYX Cosmetics, experience on film sets, creating makeup for various productions, and TV companies such as South Seas Productions where she was a Makeup Artist for news presenters and public figures.
Known for her versatility, McKeelie is equally adept at creating striking, bold glam looks as she is at enhancing natural beauty for weddings or special events. Passionate about her craft, she is committed to helping clients feel confident, bold, and glamorous with every makeup application.
She is also our superstar SPFX and Themed Makeup Artist, so if you have a Themed event, Halloween party, Dress up party to go to, or need Festival Makeup, McKeelie is the Queen!

With over 7 years of experience across Singapore, Malaysia, China, Japan, and New Zealand, Ting is a talented hair and makeup artist known for her Natural Makeup style, Ting is also an Asian Makeup Specialist. She specialises in Natural looks on all Nationalities, Korean inspired natural looks, elegant Chinese bridal styles, and is very talented Hair Stylist, creating polished down styles, to modern updos, that beautifully enhance each client’s features.
Ting holds a Malaysia Skills Certificate in Creative Makeup Artistry and an ITEC Diploma in Fashion, Theatre & Media Makeup. She continually sharpens her craft by attending advanced training and industry retreats.
Her diverse background includes work in bridal, editorial photoshoots, fashion shows, stage productions, and special effects. Ting approaches each booking with her calm nature, warmth and professionalism, always aiming to make her clients feel confident, radiant, and authentically themselves. Lead Makeup Tutor / Hair Stylist
Lisette has over 18 years experience in all aspects of the Makeup Industry. She began her career in television working for the TV3 makeup department, later going on to freelance for Shortland Street both in studio and on location.
She has worked as a freelancer for Fashion Quarterly, Girlfriend, New Idea, Pulp and Cleo magazine, and with photographers on both commercial advertising and domestic assignments.
As one of our makeup artistry educators, Lisette has experience in tutoring makeup artistry firstly with Yves Saint Laurent on their national travelling team and later as Beauty and Bridal tutor with Samala Robinson Makeup Academy, where she prepared emerging artists for the industry and also ran school holiday programmes for teenagers.
As a Senior Tutor, Lisette has acquired her adult teaching and assessment qualifications supported by NZQA, and is responsible for delivering tutoring at a corporate level on Hair and Makeup and personal/company branding to our larger clients such as Air New Zealand.
Lisette has been part of the Beauty Hub team for more than 6 years working on a range of assignments for all age groups and areas of the industry.
