Clothing

We suggest your staff wear one (only) of the brand colours. Anymore, than one colour and it looks forced.

The colour could be “in” an item – for example the men could wear a maroon tie with their blue suit.

So long as the accompanying colours match your brand colours. Eg. You wouldn’t wear white (the brand colour) with red – as the red does not work with the other brand colours orange and maroon.

This also applies to makeup – for example if you have a staff member who likes to wear a red lip, I would suggest they don’t wear it on the day, but bring it with them and our staff can tweak that colour to blend with your brand colours.

For headshots we also suggest the tops are not too busy. Try to choose one that has a block/one colour, eg no flowers, large patterns, stripes, spots etc. Keep it simple.

Also with jewellery, small and not over bearing – no large necklaces or earing’s.

The goal is you don’t want any item of clothing or jewellery to stand out and be the feature of the image, the image focus is the staff members face.
WEDDING BOOKINGS:
Bookings are not confirmed unless we have received your deposit. If you wish to have a trial first, please be aware we work on a first in first served bases, so if another Bride wants your date we will let you know, and you will have first option for the date and have 24 hours to pay your deposit. After your trial deposits are due within 3 working days to confirm your date, otherwise we will release it to other Brides.
All Wedding bookings include a $40 Admin fee for our dedicated Weddings Bookings Manager to help guide you through the process and assist you with 20 years of knowledge helping you co-ordinate your dream makeup and hair, timings for the day, email communication, confirming your exact requirements, processing your booking into our booking system, right through to the big day!
GENERAL BOOKINGS:
Bookings are not confirmed unless we receive your deposit or full payment, as specified in your Invoice email.
We do not carry EFTPOS machines – payments are required via online banking, or email us for the link to pay via Visa ( + 5% Admin&Bank fee)

Makeup and Hair:
For Hair and Makeup, please ensure the staff know the information below and are aware of how long their time slot is.

Ladies to please come with how they normally do their makeup and hair, and we will change or add certain areas of it for photographic purposes.

We ask that, although ladies come with full makeup how they would normally do it.

We can add very natural individual lashes if needed/wanted, to open up the eyes for the photos – please ensure staff understand this takes 5-10 mins out of their allocated time slot.

Please also do not wear sunblock – this is designed to reflect light, which in a camera flash can make your face look white or shiny.

Plus, please no shiny reflective products such as thin lizzy or highlighter – if you like highlighter, we will put it on you. Thin Lizzy also reflects light and does not photograph well, it is a general public product for day use only.

Men – please do your hair how you normally do it if you were to go out. Also, no sunblock, please.
WEDDING BOOKINGS:
Once we have received your deposit we will then confirm our team. Any amendments made to times, numbers etc. can usually be accommodated up to 3 months prior to the wedding. We will do our absolute best to accommodate any changes, but please keep in mind that any changes made within 3 months may not be viable due to other bookings, and/or work previous turned down for your day/time.
Once your Wedding is confirmed and your deposit has been paid, if you require any changes there will be an additional $40 Admin Fee applied to do this work.
There is a 50% cancellation fee if any services are cancelled, or any services are reduced in numbers within 3 months of your Wedding date, as we would have already turned down other work for your date/time.
Moving Wedding Dates – Wedding Deposits are non-refundable, as once your booking is confirmed we turn other Brides away for your Wedding Date – you are welcome to use the deposit towards another Wedding date within 6 months, however there will be an additional $100 admin fee for the work that has already been done, and the work needed to make the changes.
Please note if your wedding date is changed, your deposit is only valid to be reused if the same services are rebooked for the new date. If your services are reduced, your deposit is non-refundable.
UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES:
In the event there are unforeseen circumstances, such as staff illness, The Beauty Hub has the right to swap your Artist/s and/or timings to provide the best possible solution and service in such an unlikely event. Rest assured we are a large team and usually have a backup Artist on standby, so we take every precaution to ensure we provide the best possible service in the unlikely event we need to make changes.
NO SHOWS:
For any bookings where the Artist arrives and the client is not there, wants to cancel without letting us know in writing prior, or has booked the wrong date/time, or for any other reason including illness or an unforeseen circumstance, there is no refund policy, and the booking is required to be paid in full.

WEDDING BOOKINGS:
ALLERGIC REACTIONS:
We use all the top makeup brands and are very vigilant, so allergic reactions are very rare, and we have never had a major reaction from a client. However, we cannot be responsible for any reaction caused, as unless we specifically know in advance of any specific allergies to exact products, this is out of our control.
LIABILITY:
The utmost care is always taken to provide the best possible service in the unlikely event of unforeseen circumstances. By booking with us you agree that The Beauty Hub Ltd will not be liable for any damages caused or sustained by the beneficiary, including any damages caused to third parties as a consequence of or during the implementation of the action.
